The best job that I have ever had was the one that I am already in. I am in an environment that allows me to develop personal skills that I will take with me when I decide to leave someday. From this job, I am strict with my appointments. Our attendance policy is strict even if there is some sort of valid reason for being late. What I love about working at this particular job is that the management team is extremely supportive and keep our personal development in mind, all the time. There have been several times where I've asked for an informal review to assess how I am doing. I almost always receive great constructive criticism and an action plan to help me improve in areas that I lack. "Performance goals set by supervisors and employees. Goals can be short- or long-term and address numerous issues. They should be specific and quantifiable where possible (e.g., completion of a specific task within a defined time at an established quality level). Employees may require additional training or other support to meet their goals. As workplace changes occur, goals should be reviewed and modified, if needed, with employee input."
The worst job that I have ever had was when I worked at the outlet mall. There was one manager in particular who made me dread going into work. He was very negative and an accusatory manager. When we weren't meeting goals he would pull us aside and ask, "Why are you not hitting your numbers?" You were to stay in his presence and feel humiliated as he ridiculed you in front of your peers and customers.
